NAIFA Professional Liability Program Selects New Carrier
Hatboro, PA – December 13, 2004 — The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Professional Liability Program announced the selection of its new carrier — the Lexington Program Division of American International Group, Inc. (AIG). The carrier change will took effect on January 1, 2005, and the actual insurance carrier name will be New Hampshire Insurance Company.

With Lexington, the NAIFA Professional Liability Program remains an attractive and competitive option for professional liability coverage. Although Lexington will introduce a 10% rate increase across the board, it is the first rate increase instituted by the program since 1997, and the percentage is in line with industry standards and program results.
Aon’s Affinity Insurance Programs, the program administrator, has already sent renewal information to members with renewal dates of January and February 2005. It is imperative that all members return their applications to Aon’s office 30 days prior to their expiration date.
